CPRfundraising.com was created to raise awareness of the need for everyone to be trained in Bystander CPR skills, to teach those life-saving skills and to help groups raise money for their causes in a unique, beneficial and oh so easy way.
Based in Temecula, CA, CPRfundraising.com was founded by Michael Van Hanja, a veteran of the United States Army, to help get the word out. Having lost two family members to sudden cardiac arrest, the stage was set to do everything possible to get the necessary training out to as many people as possible. The biggest obstacle to our mission was the cost of CPR training with National and local training providers. With per person training costs ranging from $60 to $120 for CPR, Basic First Aid and AED training.
People who need and want to learn life-saving skills have a difficult time spending so much money on the training. So, the $20 CPR fundraising program was born. 50% of all proceeds goes directly to the fundraising group to pursue their goals. Our in-depth training courses are modeled on the Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) national training guidelines. Training certifications are valid for two (2) years. Participants have access to their online course for the duration of their two year certification period so they can come back for a quick refresher training anytime.
